Earth day arrives and spring this year is a chilly affair… slowly things unfurl, and this is as it should be – not like last year’s mad early spikes in temperature. Still some time to start a few seeds. These are from my friend’s heirloom San Marzanos. I’ll keep my fingers crossed! These bright brisk days, the sun’s warmth is as welcome as a long lost friend.
The backyard residents finally shake loose their winter memories and stretch to greet the season…
and just so you know, it’s pretty much impossible to get anything done around here without somebody else sticking their nose in.
I hope the sun shines on your patch of earth this day. It sure is shining here. :)
