Somewhere in the world the forces of nature slowly crushed together this intriguing scene, captured in a deep cobalt blue. Bleeding into a china-like background, the finely wrought geologic tableau inspired a special setting. I’ve made a custom bezel for the cabochon and added a highly decorative handmade flourish to top the chaotic picture with a romantic counterpoint. It’s personal little slice of our amazing earth and holds the awesome forces of our amazing planet so close to the heart.
This necklace is accented with 6 small bright green peridot beads, and the back of the bezel hold a hidden cut out in the shape of a chubby crescent moon, the pattern of the stone specimen peeks through. The necklace is 17.5″ long with a 2″ adjustable extender. The substantial pendant itself hangs 2.5″ long, and is about 1.75″ wide.
Boldly romantic, complete with the human imperfections of hand wrought silver.
