This little sterling silver band began its life on my workbench as an assortment of bits and clippings waiting to be turned into a useful and appreciated object. Recycling is always my goal for whatever sterling byproduct is left from any project, and the process rarely fails to disappoint. The little silver remnants are laid out in whatever arrangement looks pleasing, then fired up and fused together to become one in a unique composition. Wrapped around and joined to become a ring, the band is then smoothed, finished for comfortable wear, oxidized and polished. Fused bands are each one on a kind, as the nature of the process does not allow for duplication. This size 5 1/2 one has a 7 mm black baroque pearl dangling from a tiny loop. The cultured baroque pearl has an irregular surface that compliments the fused sterling quite nicely.
The last 2 photos in this listing show this band with a companion from this series, but please note that this listing is for one ring only, the one with the black baroque pearl. See more in my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtigianoJewelBox
