Description
A large pale pink rhodochrosite with mottled grey sections on one side, great natural pattern and a slightly irregular surface makes a big statement in this oversize and very wide sterling ring. Hidden on the back of the handmade bezel, a little crescent moon was hand cut and keeps company with a few tiny star dots tapped into the metal. One of a kind, size 8. A heavy rustic sterling band is hand hammered and anchors the large stone. Best for a middle or ring finger since the extra wide oval stone overhangs to the left and right. The stone has a small lunar-looking chunk out of the grey side, as well as some small divits in the surface – these are artifacts of the cut and polish of the cabochon, not damages to the stone and are most visible in photo 2. The setting measures about 2 inches wide, slightly over 1 inch high. It’s big. Hand made under the spell of the spring’s full pink moon.
