The artigiano renaissance medallion ring makes one of my favorite shapes wearable in a whole new way. It may be said that I’m kind of rococo, mind often wandering to a more ornate time and place, my desk is sometimes covered with scrolly doodles that could not be mistaken for modern. This medallion design is a nod to my admiration of the flowery and embellished, yet distilled distinctly for everyday… and with an off-symmetry that celebrates the not-so-perfect. Perfectly imperfect? That’s what makes life interesting. This bright & light ring compliments the renaissance medallion pendant that you can see here. Earring are also available.
About 1″ in diameter, the round sterling filigree featured in this ring is my own design, produced in limited quantities from my hand fabricated model, then shaped, curved and hammered, and attached to a carefully shaped sterling band to complete the ring form, wrapping around the finger. The wrap around shape adds dimension and depth to the linear design. At 1″, the medallion has a nice presence on the finger. Allow for the slight differences that make each piece unique. This artfully modern throwback of a ring is ready to ship at US size 8.
