Old Saint Nick (and friend, above) was just about ready to settle in for that long winter’s nap, when Mother Nature roared through last night with a storm to shut down the Northeast.  In between the big dig, a few seasonal themes captured here.

We shovel to the bird feeder first… there is a not a crumb to be found in this
frozen landscape and feathered friends eagerly await the handout.  Doves, jays, woodpeckers, juncos & cardinals – you name it, everyone was here today.

Tonight the wind still whips as the unwelcome guest reluctantly releases her
icy fingers.
