amethyst bead earrings

These little earrings are easy to wear and make a great every day choice. 6mm amethyst beads with a lovely purple hue are suspended on hand forged sterling ear wires with an elegant curved shape. Each wire is hand shaped and hammered just enough to strengthen the wire form and enhance the curves. The entire length of the earring is about 1 1/2″ (the ones I have right now have slightly longer tails than the ones pictured here- they all come out a little different). Because each pair is handmade, and there is some variation in the natural color of the bead, please allow for the slight differences that make each pair unique. Note that the image showing the ear wire style is a different bead than the pair for sale in this listing.

Known as a stone of protection and healing, amethyst is the February birthstone. From the Greek “amethustos”, amethyst is noted for sobriety and a reduction in addictive traits.
