Oh, I watch way, way too many British mysteries in those old country estates and soaring antique churches… the dusty monasteries, the crumbling ruins, bring ‘em on. So finally, after much doodling, a tangible window on that fascinating world. Take a look and see what curiosity unfold on the other side of your own little window. Window to the heart? This dreamy sterling window is large, about 2 1/2″ high by 1 1/4″ wide. My own design, this was produced in limited quantities from my intricately hand fabricated sterling model, then each is finished to it’s own one-of-a-kind character. This piece has a substantial quality, well grounded in the world while leading us to a more mystical place. Allow for the slight differences that make each piece unique. This architectural embellishment can be worn two ways: at a length of about 18″, or, add the included matching extender to the chain and wear it as a long pendant at about 30″ total. The handmade hooks made an interesting decorative addition when the extender is attached. Both the necklace and extender have gemstone accents, amethyst and garnet. The darkly oxidized patina and brushed finish enhance the medieval mood of this private gateway.
