fused sterling ring with blue tourmaline

Blue tourmaline in a hand crafted bezel setting is the feature in this one of a kind ring. The bezel is fixed on a band made from fused sterling silver scrap, like it’s own horizon line – parts go this way and that, up and down, thinner, thicker, then somehow it all comes together and a just-right spot for the stone becomes apparent. Absolutely never the same twice. That’s the fun of it… these fused bands make their own way, the molten metal has a mind of its own. The trick is finding the design within the melted material. It’s always there, if you look carefully.

This ring is about a size 7 3/4. It stands up very well on its own but could also be combined with similars in a statement stack.
