red moon eclipse ring

It was cold that night, too cold. But the magic did not escape me, it’s right here. A glowy orange agate, slightly translucent, orbited by a small stripey tiger eye. Each carefully set in hand made bezels, fabricated to the just-right size for that particular stone. The bezels are perched on a band made from fused sterling silver scrap – parts go this way and that, up and down, thinner, thicker, then somehow it all comes together and this one’s pretty nice. A little collage of elements, a little bit of moon glow, a tiny universe for your finger. Every night is magic, every night should be captured just like this.

Sized at about 7 1/4 US, this ring is one of a kind. Fused silver is a technique of endless possibility, though, and more are sure to follow.
