renaissance filigree earrings

The mind wanders to a more ornate time and place. Here is a nod to my admiration of the flowery and embellished, distilled distinctly for everyday… and with an off-symmetry that celebrates the not-so-perfect. Perfectly imperfect? That’s what makes life interesting. These light weight, versatile earrings compliment the renaissance medallion also in the shop.

About 1″ in diameter, these sterling filigrees are my own design, produced in limited quantities from my hand fabricated model, then shaped and hammered to it’s one-of-a-kind character. The convex shape adds dimension and depth to the linear design. Allow for the slight differences that make each piece unique. These artfully modern earrings are about 1.5″ total length. The sterling ear wires are each hand formed with an elegant curved shape.
