This vintage stone is all about the color and is it’s own thing from the days when one-of-a-kind stones were cut to best reveal the magic within, not to conform to a standard shape and size. It’s deep in shape too, and sits securely in a hand made silver bezel setting within heavy sterling prongs that accommodate that depth just so. The simple geometric shapes of the band and setting are a perfect foil for this antique gem.

Light hits this dark tear and color oozes out of every angle. At a far glance it’s a dark simple shape, but like so much we encounter, well worth a second look, a moment’s pause. Step closer and be mesmerized by the richest of colors.
