Late in the deep dark night, my brilliant and reliable moon winks at me through the branches of the old black walnut tree. Ever present. Some nights the clouds hide my moon but the very next night it’s right there, steady on, wax or wane. This tiny moon memento is a chubby crescent, hand cut from sterling sheet, the shape refined, sanded and oxidized. The graceful shape is simple, but the message is loud and clear… I’ll be here.

This trusty satellite hangs from a soldiered ring on a 16″ sterling chain. Each moon sister is slightly different but any member of my galaxy is held to the same standard. Please allow for the variation that makes each hand formed piece unique. Some photos show more than one crescent, but please note this offering is for just one reliable moon.
