This fused moonstone ring features a luminous and large antique stone from Ceylon, a grey moonstone with very high domed top, 15.35 carat. The dramatic stone is carefully set in a hand made bezel, fabricated to the just-right size. The bezel is fixed on a band made from fused sterling silver scrap, like it’s own horizon line – parts go this way and that, up and down, thinner, thicker, then somehow it all comes together just right. A little collage of elements, a dramatic bit of moon glow, a universe for your finger. Every moon lit night is magic, remember one just like this.

Sized at about 8 1/2 US, this ring is one of a kind. The face of the ring is wide, about 1 1/4 inch from top to bottom, but narrow at the back for comfortable wear. Fused silver is a technique of endless possibility, more are sure to follow.
