the power of three

$263.00

Three’s a crowd? I don’t know, I kinda like this crowd. Peach moonstone, topaz, and a small emerald on a rustic silver band textured and wrapped together, a couple of gold nuggets for good measure. I’m not feeling crowded at all, it’s a party I’d attend.

The moonstone is an antique cabochon, very peachy. The pale topaz has a slight blue cast and the emerald is on the pale side, too.  All hand constructed, piece by piece.  Size: slightly shy of a 5 1/2. The front of the band is about 1 1/8 inch high top to bottom, narrow in the back for comfort, about 3/8 inch. The sterling silver in the band is textured by reticulation, a process where the sterling is heated and cooled repeatedly to bring the silver in the alloy to the surface where is makes a crackly texture.

Somehow dainty yet with a character that tells a story, the pastel palette is all spring and fresh beginnings, but somehow this newly hatched Easter egg is at the same time an old soul, one who has waited to surface for a long, long time. The oval peach moonstone actually has a lovely cat’s eye feature, follows you when you move it in the light. Feels wise.

There’s a picture at the end that shows this ring with some cousins, but this listing is for just the one, it’s at the right.  You can see the others here in my shop also, and gallery. They do look great in piles…. treasure for a modern maiden.
